A message from our founder
Growing up in a culinary-rich and diverse India, my passion for food was sparked from an early age. After studying in Bahrain and working at the Arab Latin American Bank, I decided to embark on my career in the family business started by my father and his partner, a restaurant. I was captivated by the challenges and opportunities within the restaurant industry and, driven by a deep passion, immersed myself in every aspect of running a restaurant.
Through years of exploration, traveling the world and expanding my palate, I was inspired to create my own unique venture that would offer a different experience to food lovers. This journey led to the founding of Unique Restaurants Management Co. in 2005. Unique now operates multiple brands under its umbrella including Mumbai Spices, Alreef Panasia and Al Osra Restaurant. The establishment of AlRaya Catering in 2015 was born out of the desire to expand my vision of quality culinary experiences beyond our restaurants and cater to a broader range of events and celebrations.
